Remote Session Drummer | Organic Live MIDI Drums | MIDI Drums/Programmed Drums for $75

Hello, my name is Mart Evans and I’m a remote session drummer based out of Philly. Originally from the UK, I've been playing for 40 years and have been working remotely for the last five. I specialize in recording organic, live-played MIDI drum tracks for artists, bands, and producers who want the feel of a real drummer with the flexibility of MIDI.

Across my career, I've recorded for artists including Tim Renwick (Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton), Alex Catchings, Steve Donnelly (Sheryl Crow, Nick Lowe), and Henry Louris, played on tracks produced by Ruslan Sirota (Grammy-winning producer and keyboardist), and shared sessions with Phil Keaggy, Iain Hornal (Jeff Lynne's ELO, 10cc), Mike Waldron (Luke Combs), and others.

Rock and pop are my bread and butter, but my song-first mindset carries over to Americana and indie, and through to hard rock, prog, and the darker post-punk and gothic end.

I track live on a Roland kit through Superior Drummer 3 and its many expansions. The kit sound shapes the performance, so choosing the right one matters before a note is played. Once I've got a few takes down, I send the part to you to audition, and we go from there.

Once we’re done you get the clean MIDI file plus mix-ready multitrack audio pulled from industry-standard and boutique libraries, so you have the option to use the kit I provide or your own samples. If the track asks for a little tambourine or shaker, I'm glad to add it. Turnaround is within five days, with three revisions.

Have a listen to my demo reel and the Spotify playlist, then send me a note about your project and how I can help you.

Thanks for your time,

Mart.
